Fine Art Courier Colchester

Fine Art Courier Colchester

Fine Art Courier Colchester — Dedicated, Insured, White-Glove

“Fine art doesn’t belong on a parcel belt or in a shared van.”

Generic services co-load, hand items between depots and rarely provide RAMS/COI, so managed buildings can refuse entry at the door.

Adhesive tapes and direct shrink-wrap can mark gilding and veneers; canvases flex on conveyors; mirrors and stone are too often laid flat.

At Venture we're different: a white-glove, dedicated-vehicle service from Colchester to London and nationwide with a uniformed two-man crew, triple-layer wrap (acid-free first contact), vertical handling for glass/stone, and full property protection. We pre-book lifts, supply and send photo proof with a signed POD — so your piece arrives exactly as promised.

Care for delicate finishes

Antique frames, gilt leaf, veneered or polished surfaces and fresh lacquer need gentle materials and zero adhesive contact.

We use acid-free tissue and soft blankets as first-contact layers, avoid direct shrink-wrap on sensitive finishes, and brace vulnerable sections.

For mirrors and large glass we keep the load upright within a pre-fabricated a-frame (a wooden frame), add rigid cardboard where appropriate and secure with non-marring straps.
